Chapter Two- First Farmers- Chapter Three- Cities, States, and Unequal Societies

In terms of World history and the human story, agriculture and domestication was something that was going to happen. Without access to to food what would our world really be like today? Would we even exist? Agriculture has provided for us for thousands and thousands of years. Especially after the the end of the last ice age. Although different parts of the world still stick to the basics of agriculture while others use all kinds of artificial ingredients both ends require some type of agriculture and domestication. 

Unlike the Igbo's of south nigeria they put the labor on the younger members and control the womens reproductive power. Its crazy how even way back when how everyone had titles and there was alot of double standards!! 

Agriculture has and will always change the way we live now and in the future . On the contrary it has brought to what we know call towns and cities states and people who own this amount of land while others rent and its become very much so based on money and power. 

I do not feel that or consider this to be 'progress' because with this type of progress, it has brought a lot of problems and wars. 

Chapter Three:

I think there was a lot to gain and a lot has been lost after reading this chapter. 

Civilization has been good for mankind but I think as time goes by we as people have put labels on everything. Why do most countries go to war ? Think about it? 

Like egyptian civilization has reminded me that territory has been brought because of them.

This makes me think of 300 and the rise of Persia and people dying of the most idiotic things. We should share, it should be owned or designated to anyone. Now even food is being produced fast to make more money. I understand why modern assessments are being made, because really what is 'civilization' doing to cultures and people in general.

By chapter three we go over how not just agriculture and life has come about but how people began to relay there messages, by symbols and records of hieroglyhs!

The implication of solidity- his being shared around the world which brings oppression class, state organized societes and straight up PROBLEMS. 

I guess this is just life and how it is. I cant move a mountain thats for sure.
